A playful, Michaelic blend of fencing + yoga for focus, courage, and connection
When: Mondays, 3:15–4:30 PM starting Monday 10th November - Monday 8th Decembr
• 3:10–3:30 Afternoon tea (healthy snacks + drink provided)
• 3:30–4:30 Beginners–Intermediate YoFence class
Where: Tarremah School (Hall / Stage space)
Who: Mostly 10–14 year olds (beginners welcome; returning fencers supported to progress)
What is YoFence?
YoFence weaves fencing fundamentals with eastern martial arts wisdom and breathwork to build posture, balance, and calm focus. We practice through play and disciplined movement, cultivating courage, care, and joyful connection rather than competition.
Highlights
Structured warm‑up, breath, and body awareness
Footwork, bladework, reflex and distance games
Partner drills that emphasise safety, respect, and timing
Short mindfulness cool‑down to integrate learning
Safety & Equipment
All equipment provided (Italian‑made masks and non‑metal practice swords). Also new metal swords have been ordered for this term!
Coaching is insured via the Australian Fencing Federation.
Clear safety rules, gentle progression, and positive guidance.
