Perennial Basil - Huon Hardy (local selection) (Ocimum hybrid)
My own perennial basil line: slightly different from African Blue spicy-sweet with a hint of clove/citrus, medium leaves with a soft purple blush, and masses of flowers (a total bee magnet). In Tasmania it’s perennial and in leaf a lot of the year round in frost-light spots; trim after flowering. Perfect for pesto, oils, teas, and year-round garnishes.
